Maybe we can bid to host the Winter Olympics. We do have a SNOW CITY!
What's sad but very true is that you'll have a better chance at the Winter games than the Summer games.

The winter games is much smaller than the summer games. Fewer sports and fewer participants.
The infrastructure is one thing that just takes space and planning. There are other factors. Just by population, you would have already lost out. A couple of years ago, we (vancouver) got the 2010 winter games and over the last few years, I've got the chance to see how many people it is needed to host the games. Just the volunteers would probably take up all the sports fans who are willing to show up to watch. There wouldn't be anyone in the stands. Plus would you guys pay 20-30 bucks for sports tickets? We have surrounding population that can add up the numbers of spectators which you lack. Plus for our bid, it's a 2-city bid. Vancouver and Whistler.
The only chance you've got is to do it with Malaysia but then you'll just be lost in the shuffle. Seeing how they would be hosting a majority of events. Your relationship with Malaysia isn't the greatest so I don't see how you guys can come together to do it.
