why cant the older generation appreciate modern music?

for example one of my relatives which is about my father's age. he came to visit and asked me to turn on some music so i specially went to look for some of the best music ever made and he didnt even appreciate it, instead he passed some uncalled for remarks that are rude. obviously he uses his other head to think. he said r&b music sounds like ppl mourning for dead ppl and rap music is noisy and gives 'him' a heart attack. so what if he's old, nobody cares. i dont give a shit if he dies as he does not have consideration for others. even if he doesnt like it, he should have at least thought about it once in his empty brain before badmouthing others. in the case he actually criticized several music artists and also me for having a bad taste. what is even sadder is my dad laughs when he said all that, meaning he agrees.

not to forget, that sod criticizes many other things too that are related to me some way or another. he questioned about my clothes i wear at home, seriously who gives a fuck. my dad does not even bother so why should a relative care? if u are curious i was wearing a layered skirt which has a couple of layers of different fabrics and a top with a pic of some hand pointing a middle finger somewhere. it so happens to be my unlucky day. if u think that is it, u are wrong. by the way he was the first person who has told me straight in the face that my hair is ugly. even my parents do not dare to do so. i chose to give him face, if not i would have chased him out of my house and not let him 'visit' as ever again

im still deciding whether to migrate to the usa but if i decide to, i'll probably do it after my a levels. my parents esp my mom being so cheena and traditional will surely make hell lot of comments when i do so. if i want them to come with me, i can dream on. my mom actually mentioned about migrating to china before.
if only there werent so cheena they would make the perfect parents. matter of fact they listen to me more than i listen to them. -

The rate of how china advance is so fast that no other countries can catch up. And that's why US take china as a threat now, so they come up with things like "quota" to control china gmt export to US. Where is your "Freedom" now?China dun have freedom to trade with u? Find out more about china and u may understand why your mom come up with this suggestion.
But after all, u are free to choose where u wanna go. US is a good choice too, but some ppl may find china more suitable. I wont(and i cant) stop u from going anywhere. -
