study the full course in sg.Originally posted by bECos:Can you afford to study overseas or do you intend to study the entire course in Singapore?
If it is the former, which countries? Australia, UK, US or etc?
If you intend to study in Singapore, the best bet will be SIM. If I am not wrong, it will be the fourth University.
Most private institutes in Singapore, seriously, are not very well run. Most of the sales or admin executives left the company even before you complete your first semester. But think of it this way, you are taking the university program in Singapore and using the private institute premise for your program.
By the way, you thought of ACCA???
I am not... Used to be working with their competitor.Originally posted by makiko:he is from informatics, wat abt u
You can look at course offered by University or London and ACCA. Always give me the impresssion that the course and the school are very well run. A lot of institutes in Singapore are offering them. Go to each school, talk to their sales executives, walk around the premise, computer lab, library, classroom, even their toilet...Originally posted by shinta:study the full course in sg.
Have considered ACCA, but that's a 2nd choice. I wanna do finance. Interest u see
!!! i had always wanted to go to UWA for biz, majoring in financeOriginally posted by bECos:You can look at course offered by University or London and ACCA. Do note that a lot of private schools have a large population of foreign students from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mynamar and etc. You have to learn to like them.
However, ACCA and University of London's courses are notoriously difficult. A lot of students drop out from the program.
Australia university program's are easier to complete. More expensive also. A lot of institute are offering them. Things to consider:
1. Exemption given to your degree course after completion of diploma or advance diploma.
2. Degree Certificate to be awarded by university or local school.
3. Transfer of unit to Australia Universities. Some schools allow you to study a semester in Australia.
Excellent University: PSB - UWA, TMC - Monash.
Some said Macquarie University are good for Finace course.
Common in Singapore: RMIT, Curtain, Deakin.
UK University:
1. From my friend's feedback, their course are not too bad. PSB and MDIS are offering them. But they do not allow students to transfer their course on-campus, as in Australia. But do check with them. I could be wrong.
The above are from my memory. Have not been active in educational industry for a couple of years already.
