can i also ask why there is even a BOD for a so-call non-charitable org? true that the org should have a grp of pple making decisions, but a BOD is so commercialized...
n y do they have so much in reserves? a whopping $190 million according to the newspaper, if i m not mistaken... if got so much money, y not share it with other charities, or even make it totally free for patients in the low or middle-income bracket...
n y is there a need for a 3rd show to appeal for donations when the nation is probably skeptical about the NKF's administration? the donation amt has been increased yr by yr, n now even want to increase the no. of shows... wat's the motive??? -

Although all the artists are paid for their efforts, they have practised hard to make the event an success and they have a true intention of helping the kidney paitents.
I guess they are must be hurting after all the truth.
If the CEO have falsely stated the number of paitents, it would warrant for a public investigation on how the organisation is conducting its business.
Now, the wheel of circle is turned.
Sad to say, there are too many elites (top management and BOARD OF DIRECTORS) involved in this law suit.
The public will never know the truth and no investigation will be conducted. -

This organisation should have the Ministry and Police into investigation.... Its sounds more like conning common singaporean feeling, kindness... The country is doom if every organisation operates in this way.... no wonder we see more poor, helpess ppl suffering....

NKF never really had a watertight case, to begin with. By initiatin court action, they shot themselves in the foot.

elites or wat not, they are still subjects of our country... n so they are still subjected to the laws of our country... i really hope an investigation is conducted, n make these pple fork out a substantial amt from their pay-packet...
i really wonder how these pple sleep ez at nite? they studied so much, claim to be an elite, but where are their morals? i dun deny that these pple should be paid, but it certainly should not be an astronomical fig.. n btw mr tt duria, dun try to compare urself with the ceo of other companies when u claim that NKF is a non-profitable org n u dun even want to disclose ur salary like other ceos do... it's quite... *lost for words*

Judge : (not even bother to look at his face) The verdict is final, you will be punished according to your misdeed. You attempts to reduce sentence for your greivious offence, is rejected. But you can appeal to the High Courts. Adjourned! -
Just a silly stress relieving response
The best retribution is for this CEO to get sued by SPH, made bankrupt, got kidney problems and had to ask NKF for aid. In the end he appear in the show crying and regretting and telling people about his sad story and asking for donations to NKF
Don't donate any more money to NKF ! Feel soft hearted after seeing all the poor people asking for money ? Don't worry, even if no one donates they can survive for another 30 years. Feel softhearted when the stars asked and plead for money ? Don't, because not donating to a charity (tat don't need charity) is not because u do not like the star, but because it is the right thing to do. They should not linked their popularity with the amount of donations -
