do you (non-chinese) all feel awkward when we use chinese terms herE? -
i have nothing against dating someone from another race. I must comment that malay girls got the nicest eyes. however...I think ppl of the older generation will not like it.. try tell ur mum that ur girlfriend is called min nah... what kind of reaction u think shye's gonna give u.
my mum probably say, KNNCCB Yao Sew Kia, got chinese girls dont want go and date malay girls... -

my cousin's dating a malay guy , been together since sec school , when i first saw them together , i didn't really approve of it, and i told her
"you're catholic, unless you're thinking of converting if not you'll need to reconsider"
as for me i find it hard to date a malay girl unless she's willing to give up her religion for me, i'll naturally assume that malays girls refered to here are all muslims -

I don't know about Singapore, but back in Malaysia I have had very good impression of Malay girls. They are very gentle and friendly. My parents have no objections with their son dating Malay girls. Heck my father once even encouraged me to get a Malay gf.
But the religion thing is a serious issue......so I never dated one eventhough I had feelings (I am pretty sure those were mutual feelings) for quite a few at different times. -

Whoever did really marry, I must trully respect you and hope that you really knows and prepared to take all consequences such as stares, your child background queries, your parents having to explain to relatives etc.
