actually, if i were going into a serious r/s with a malay girl, then.. maybe.. i will consider all those probs abt parents, religion and stuff.
For me, i'll probably not care less.. it sounds quite fun leh.. it's a good chance to see how my folks will freak out if they see me with a malay girl. haha.. and it'll pave the way for the next gf. she'll get a better life cos my parents will probably be thinking "No matter how bad she is, at least she's not malay/ Indian!"

Like u said lah.. some ppl in sg are still pretty backward in their thinking, and u can't control this. Even if you get a same race bf, you can't guarantee that he is the ONe. So when dating, it shouldn't be abt race or religion, just make sure u like him and he likes u. simple rite? -

well.. im malay.. and frankly i would prefer to not date a chinese gal.. from a malay guy`s point of view, its actually kinda hard.. not only do u have to ask the gal to convert.. but its the responsibility after that.. to teach her, help her adapt, and be a role model for her to follow.. it sounds daunting.. but then again.. love conquers all..

im won't change my name or adopt a new name, and i would also want her to follow my culture and i'll do the same for her culture.
It sounds fair enough.
Point being , im never going to circumsize myself or convert into other religions.
I won't force my religion down her throat and she won't force her religion down my throat.
I wear the clothes i seem suitable. She wear the clothes she deem suitable .
Thats how marriage should be like.

If she loves me , she should accept the fact that i have no wish to convert into her religion in the first place.
If i love her , i also should accept the fact that i won't expect her to convert into my religion.
As for malays, i won't stereotype them into a group and classify them .
It's unfair , because each unique individual has no choice but to accept the race and culture that they were given with when they are born.
I don't like others to be racist against me , so i won't do the same thing against them.
But to pple who are racists against me, expect to face the cold treatment.
Love should be what love it is . Which is purity.
Keep sex,religion,race and culture away from it. -

knowledge may be there but nothing beats living it out.. and the couple may find it tougher than originally expected.. so some pple take a stand against inter-racial, to avoid these stresses in the marriage, wic is already full of other stresses..
having said dat.. i always believe love conquers all.. and we never noe who we`ll end up with.. and if a couple finds it a journey not too daunting.. and decides to go for it.. i wish them all the very best.
