I don't remember anyone wearing Bathing Ape to club. Err...at least the place i go doesn't have these punks.
Woo! Going for any outings anytime soon?Originally posted by HENG@:heh um i AM back in sg. last i went out and slammed a drink, i got an acute pain where my liver is so that scared me into taking it easy with the drinks nowadays.
i dunno, i hope so.Originally posted by M©+square:Woo! Going for any outings anytime soon?![]()
flaming lambo and waterfall heard before.... but combination of those 2? never heard before leh... like how one?Originally posted by kopiosatu:combination of that and waterfall would be falling lambo... if i'm not wrong la
i got open bottle of chivas and mix it with coke in club before ah. not common meh?Originally posted by HENG@:but but but... malibu or southern comfort with coke is very common wad... also they're not premium liquor...
now i wanna see if anyone drinks chivals regal or XO Otard with coke.![]()
$16 for a cocktail i find it reasonable ba...Originally posted by M©+square:It is common la, but in clubs. It is still considered 'premium' level of infused flavoured liquer. S$16++
I would order a Malibu Pineapple/Orange in a club. Don't waste my money on 7-up or coke la.
Singaporean drinks Chivas + Green Tea/warm water
The furthest i've seen for Cognac is Hennessy + Coke.
Cheers
where you got the idea from? plain joe and jane also go clubbing one what.Originally posted by Nikar:but in SG, is it like 8 out of 10 working women go to pubs? or lesser?
pubbing in the West is an everyday thing, it's in their culture, heritage and genes lah, but in asia it's more of like to show off something and in half the cases, more like for those "beautiful people"/rich folks etc.
a high-society kind of thing loh.
hahaha. i wore before a $10 t shirt go clubbing leh. and i speak singlish and hokkien in club lor. so i dont belong to that small tiny weeny bunch of people.Originally posted by Nikar:no lah!
but isn't it true that the people there all very fake one? like wear those S$670 a piece Bathing Ape shirt etc.? wear those bohemian style scarf/wool caps? singaporean try to talk and behave like western pub-goers loh.
i cringe at all these things, that's why i never go. unless i'm wrong lah. these clubbers are always all about DJ Diamond, DJ Simon, DJ Roberts, Shiek Haikel, Bathing Ape, Flesh Imp and such lah.
Chivas with Green Tea is nice.Originally posted by digicharat:$16 for a cocktail i find it reasonable ba...
chivas can mix with green tea meh? wont it taste funny? i prefer to mix with coke or ginger ale.
hennessy with coke also got try before. johnnie walker with coke also.
dunno. not my kind of drink.Originally posted by digicharat:i got open bottle of chivas and mix it with coke in club before ah. not common meh?
but mostly chivas i drink at chalet one.
xo never mix with anything before. just drink it neat.
S$16 for cocktail i find unresonsable. esp since this is singapore, not london. S$20 for door fee also ridiculous la. the clubs here not even half of london's standards. They should lower the door charges defo.Originally posted by digicharat:$16 for a cocktail i find it reasonable ba...

A bottle of Smirnoff red is $57 in Cold Storage. Selling about $148(generally) in Clubs.Originally posted by HENG@:sg leh, cannot lower the prices ah?![]()
not terrible. more like siao. london u charge 25 pounds nobody want to go man. as we say, good clubs dun require u to pay more. good clubs require u to be on the guest list. the clubs there are 3 stories worth of dancefloor and u get in free! malibu shooters n mixers go for 3 pounds. and the atmosphere, music is all fantastic. singapore clubs all so small n not very standard... still can charge that sort of price? thats outrageous ain't it?Originally posted by M©+square:A bottle of Smirnoff red is $57 in Cold Storage. How to lower prices? Entrance $25, you'll still see people queuing.

thats funny. either u're going to the wrong clubs, or u've not been in a club b4 and is saying what u think a club is like from what u see on tv shows.KNN! really meh? u know, Zouk has this weekly/fortnight magazine called Juice, and inside they show those clubbers, all very very trendy and wild one leh. got nose studs, all kind of hairstyles, a lot of 26 - 40 year old executives(like those u see in CBD and Raffle Place etc.), and somemore all of the girls wear very thick make-up one, and a lot of pictures showing ang-moh guys hugging local girls one leh. never meh? or you all go to those clubs for good-boys? very confusing leh.
hahaha. i wore before a $10 t shirt go clubbing leh. and i speak singlish and hokkien in club lor. so i dont belong to that small tiny weeny bunch of people.whoa, really got such people wear $10 shirt meh? but if i remember, those clubs like Zouk and those along the entire Mohammed Sultan Rd, as well as those clubs like China Jump, China Black, Velvet Underground and Devil's Bar, the people all belong to that kind of "Bathing Ape"/high-society/101% ang-moh type leh.
Those photographers in Juice Magazine will only take pictures of their friends/CELEBRATIES, does it make sense that Mediacrop artiste dressing up for a event?aiyo-yo. wrong spelling lah. not celebraties. it's celebrities. anyway, those are not celebrities lah, if u read the Juice magazines. all normal people, but very wild and mad, as if they just got Nicole Kidman as their girlfriend or like they're gonna marry Brad Pitt tomorrow. Some look like they're the coolest folks on earth. quite fake to me leh, that's the thing.
So where did your concept of clubbers come from? JUICE magazine?not really lah. not just Juice magazine.....also got newspaper mah.
Juice is a mag. its gonna make the club look the way the club owners want to potray the club, and the image they want to potray is one thats fun and wild.logical.
afterall, who wants to go to a club for a funeral or library atmosphere. u have appropriate places for appropriate atmospheres, and suffice to say, just as u'd expect a library to be silent and soothing, u'd expect a club to be wild and fun, where u can go crazy a bit. comprehend?logical. but the thing is : i don't understand how they get so wild? i mean, surely got some reason one mah. u cannot go in and just start raving, raging, shouting, dancing like berserk right?
2ndly i really dunno wot u mean about bathing ape or high society. im not familiar with either.all clubbers should be one lah. bathing ape is that no-style t-shirt. the design usually features an ape-face/figure etc.
But I don't play the guitar, I listen to rock, metal, rap, hip hop and all sorts of dancy music.aiyah, don't play guitar but listen to rock, metal, rap and all sortta dancy music.....what the difference, bro?
But have u seen those techno clubs? those ah bengs and their techno music?those are different.....they dare to be themselves and be barbaric mah.
most un-westernized i must say, especially with their "KNN" every other sentence.proud to say i'm also one of them lah. no no, seriously....like i already lectured before, KNN is very poetic and rythmic in sentences. all other foul words not good, though.
