Singaporean TV dramas are hopeless

Cliche storylines that get so repititive, rehashed every new series, i am mostly refering to the english ones, the best production i have ever seen is probably triple nine or PCK.Chinese ones are not too bad except for a few lame ones as well.

there're very little local English dramas. even if have, they're those lame and stupid ones like Heartlanders and My Sassy Neighbour.

The only really good one which I enjoyed was Growing Up.
Even then, it had serious problems towards the end - many of the original cast members left, the storylines became too melodramatic (the mother's murder, Gary's murder trial, etc....).... -

we pay $110 for radio and tv license every year. there are 80k hdb households alone. thats a staggering 8.8 million.
