It is indeed true foreigners are better in looks than singaporeans i will have to agree on that someone's comment that u should step outside the country to see the real picture. In the western countries i been to, usually the Indians are well integrated into the culture better treated than chinese. -

Moreover, please be clear as to the fact that 'fair' simply means 'less or not dark' and so the use of such a term in reference to skin colour presupposes that the type of skin in question can already be designated as having a colour of a specific type; thus, for instance, when Aishwarya is said to be 'fair' or even 'naturally fair' this would not imply that her skin cannot also be described as being brown-hued; by the same token, when the skin of a chinese girl is described as being 'fair' or even 'naturally fair' this will not preclude her skin from being also validly described as being basically yellow rather than white.
Thus Orientals would in certain quarters be viewed as having a basically yellow skin, even though it may well be the case that specific instances of Orientals can be found whose skin could be viewed as fairer than the tanned skin of some of those who are designated as 'whites'.
And as to Aishwarya being ugly, as some here would maintain, let me just say that there are many indeed who would consider her to be one of the world's most beautiful women; Julia Roberts herself, for one, had once described Aishwarya as the most beautiful woman in the world.
But Vivek please don't set up Aishwary as some sort of standard to which everybody else ought to be trying to conform; because as I have already said previously, it cannot be denied that there are men of your race who certainly do prefer Chinese women to the women of their own race.
How do you judge feminine beauty?
If you ask me, I find Olinda prettier than Aishwarya; but then since I once listed Mother Teresa as one of the world's most beautiful women, I do suppose my opinion on this score would be open to being questioned in certain quarters.
