Next year cannot smoke in kopi tiam, how?

Date : 2 August 2005. Tuesday Rainy/Cloudy
I every morning must sit at kopi tiam, put one leg on the chair, laa kopi and then smoke my 555.
Now they banning smoking in coffee shop? HOw?
Maybe I should da bao my kopi and go park and drink from now on. Sekali they also ban smoking in parks. Then I think I have to migrate liao. -

well,i think we will likely see alot still bochup one after the initial period whereby maybe the govt will sent people around to check.
After that when enforcement is not that strict,people will likely continue to do it unless fellow singaporeans will really call up to report them constantly.So will u bother to report these people?I m guessing most will not. -

Smart thing to do is not complain,wait for the initial high key period to cool down then continue doing it like the rule dun exist since enforcement is not that easy? -

Finally a free from pollution nation, Oh I am loving it. Hope that the ban extend to other public area. Those who want to smoke, hide in the toliet or go home and smoke. They don't want their health but I do. -

I still remember how hardworking the Traffic Police worked a few years back, when the economy was not doing well. That was the time when the gahmen made rear passengers wear seat belts in cars. Every now and then, gahmen must come up with new law to ensure their recurring income.
