I still remember how hardworking the Traffic Police worked a few years back, when the economy was not doing well. That was the time when the gahmen made rear passengers wear seat belts in cars. Every now and then, gahmen must come up with new law to ensure their recurring income.
You think the ban is for our health? Kar pui! Why don't they just ban selling of ciggies, like the way they ban chewing gums? Which one is more harmful????
well u really think the govt will force it until people have really almost no place to smoke and they will then lose their much loved ciggie taxes when people smoke less?
Maybe there will be a few hot high key period where they will wayang and sent people around to check but i m guessing most of the time,there will still be lots who will take the chances at kopitiam and continue their usual habit.
Unless we start to see really public concious people who will not hesitate to report these people.But as we know most singaporeans will likely just try to mind their own business.
