She deserved it for repeatedly refusing to pay her fines, and for being stupid enough to buy a car to let relative drive even though she herself is not a driver. The police were only doing their job.

maybe the jail she is in has special care for her condition.
good food, special bed, free daily check by nurse and doctor,
standby call to KK hospital,
all the attention and needs of a nursing mother in prison oaid by the tax payers money.
no cell, but stay in medical ward. have TV and no need to follow inmates routine. -

there are some hard core females criminals and drug addicts who specially get pregnant to escape prison sentence or time.
if they serve one year, and already 6 mnths pregnant when jailed, give birth free and baby food free, doctor free, nursing care fre, and prison warders hav eto watch her and give care 24 hrs , stay in room with baby , no prison routine. special confinement nurse.
so one year very easy to pass.
if lucky half a year because of baby.
