btw if a person is brought up thrifty chances are he/she will remain so even with a high income. -

I think it matters lor..of course who will in the right mind marry a garung kuni man right. Unless maybe the woman is a garung kuni woman.. lol I think if the guy earns around 2k that will be good enough because afterall 2 people total up already 4k plus so not bad already..
If the guy is loving and caring but lazy and no goal in life, I think in the end no woman will want him also haha. Unless she is blinded by love lor.. -

I met such a guy before. I can't live with tat fact. I'm 23. I definitely will want a stable life with my future husband. For a family (a couple n 2 kids), combine salary shld be ard 7 should be fine. Not forgetting that a certain amount have to be put aside for the kids tertiary and university studies.
If me and my future husband cannot reach the 7k mark, then i think the choice of having a kid shld be shelved first.

the reason why so many people are not married is because they got their priorities wrong.
if both parties are serious about marriage a combine salary of 3-4k should be enough. sacrifices are needed in a marriage. most people nowadays treat marriage like a business merger between a man and a woman. -
