LOL yeah I agree. A dozen fully equiped riot police offficers vs 4 ladies and men armed with placards is indeed a rare comical sight. I think of the 152 nations on earth, only in Singapore do you get to see this. I am sure this incident will appear in major newspapers worldwide tomorrow, entertaining the lives of billions of people. Looking at how things are handled here, wouldn't be surprise if there's a sniper stationed at nearby buildings taking aim at the so called, "rioters".
But then, its understandable if they suspect the 4 man and ladies to be masters in the new chinese traditional kungfu, the placard style, they would have caused some "serious" damage. -
i participated in a peaceful demonstration in London. the right to demonstrate is the basic right of any democratic country. Do you singaporeans truely believe u live in a democratic country? don't be naive.
