The big deal is no holiday for some.

Many normal citizens will not get an extra holiday while the elites don't lugi one day to make citizens earn more money for them.
As for Kuan is really suitable to become a president, I thought it would be a better idea for the masses to decide, esp he technically met the criteria. Now by the fact that he was not given permission to run for election, it shows that the gov worries about that he may be elected and the "undesired" consequences that might follow.
O well, just another typical Singapore story. Now will have to wait 6 years for another possible Presidential election. Hope I will not be a Singapore citizen by then.
