two years? they are practically robbing away our hunks' time. where will all the handsome guys be when they reach 18? they will be sent to a far away island for god knows what, leaving their pitiful girlfriends alone. its plain selfish and even if its for protecting the country, two years isnt neccessary. from my point of view, i wouldnt be very happy if my boyfriend were to leave me to go for NS for two years. NS not only rob the guys of their golden years, it demolishes relationships too. not to forget there will be less guys around for us girls.

heck, be blessed that u only need to go for 10yrs of ord(duno wat to say, its like going back to camp and learn something once ur out of NS for 2 yrs)

but it's realli disheartening to see girls being insensitive to break up just becos they're in camp most of the time and cannot be with them, or be with gf and she complain he not paying attention to her needs!
that is one of the causes of NSFs' suicide in NS. -

I have served NS... Learned a great deal abt life and not breaking under pressure...
It changed my life... Being an NS commander I learned to respect myself and others. Saw the very best and worst of human nature.
