Fugue is right in a broad sense.
Divorce should never be an option; even though I think that there are circumstances in which a separation should be observed (possibly of both bed and board).
And he's correct too, in observing that the law (in many ways) seems to be weighted in favour of the gals.

No surprise, I got a friend got into this woman charter shit thingy and the wife take full advantage. Even before the divorce the wife already got 1 standby bf and can boast around telling people how much she expect to get for monthly maintenance.. I think in relationships, some problems cannot be solved. It's better to seperate and move on with life. Thus divorce is always an option.

I'm inclined to agree with this, especially if the marriage has gotten to a point where both parties can't even be civil with each other, even after counselling and attempting to work things out. Divorce will be difficult for either spouse and the children to deal with, but would it be any better an environment if both parents are at loggerheads, sleeping in separate rooms, one spouse bad-mouthing and undermining the other, keeping boyfriends or girlfriends underground or in bright sunlight? I've heard many cases when the wife totally ignore/neglect the husband and family, even when they have kids, and spent time happily outside with other man....
as you can see, it's not always the guy who is at fault or always the woman suffering. -
dating is the beginning, courtship is fun, relationship is serious fun, marriage is dangerous fun. when 1 party cannot tolerate and live wif the other, conflicts happens, communication breaks down, the sight of the other person makes u wanna leave the house and return late. sharing the same bed is a torture.
there is no need for divorce. sometime ppl expect too much from a marriage. they did not prepare themselves for a life wif someone else. they thought as long as there's love marriage is possible. but there r many factors involved too.
I stongly encourage ppl to attend marriage counselling session prior to signing on the dotted line. -
