wow profound, thxOriginally posted by Gedanken:Well, I suppose one could argue that it is a reproductive act, but reproduction is by definition not the intent of prostitution. Being an unnecessary act (made so by reproduction not taking place), and being something that is paid for, it fits the definition of a luxury.

Hmm..but prostituition by definition is sex bought with money. Sex is a need of every human according to maslow laws of human needs. Since sex is need and prostituition is a means for fulfilling that need, it shouldnt be considered a luxury.Originally posted by Gedanken:Well, I suppose one could argue that it is a reproductive act, but reproduction is by definition not the intent of prostitution. im in polyOriginally posted by earthlings73:B4 answering, we must address whether there's healthy sexual relationship between partners or not..
heard from a lot of married guys that wives sometimes do not give as much as what they want..
if there's a healthy sexual relationship after marriage, prostitution will become a luxury..
if there isn't, having sex is a basic human drive, and hence, a necessity..
is this a GP question?
