Should he still be allowed to teach in school?

He should go, too careless with himself and not bothered to keep the moral integrity.
Students cannot look up to him.
It's better for him to leave. -

Similar in the sense that both are offences committed. He has bring down the moral integrity of the teaching profession. To complicate matters, the parents who send their kids to the school demanded that the school change whatever furniture the gay teacher touched for fear that their children might contract some unknown disease.

but you see the person has admitted that he is gay. which is illegal in singapore and being a teacher in a private school he has to abide with those rules set after he was arrested which was to teach in a room with a window so that he can be observered he already knew that he observed and yet he did such a suspicious thing. failing to do so resulted in his firing

The integrity and morale of the Teaching though has slacked. But it should not go to the extreme.

gays is also a human, y stop them from teaching. unless they are like teaching rubbish in sch. -
not that we are saying that gays are not humans but he was convicted which made him suspicious. even though it didnt state that he was not a pedo, he should have taken precautions.

ok anyways. but he was still caught the problem was that he was WARNED. which meant that he had to be careful of what he said and did.

A teacher is expected to be a role model and should possess a good, up-right character. Once he is found doing something unlawful, he no longer fulfills his professional requirements. Thus I think the school has grounds to fire him.
As for him teaching in the future, much as I do not oppose homosexuality, I think a record that smears your character will be very hard to erase or ignore.
The unwritten rule is that teachers must also follow the societal norm. I think in Singapore, teaching organisations do not encourage anything too deviant or radical, whether in private or public schools. As long as what one does in his private life is kept private, employers have no issues. -
Still, in today's society, where we are more open-minded, I don't think it is bad.
