spelling.. does anyone spell correctly anymore?

  yeah.. this is one big problem.. most of Singaporeans' english are already SO imperfect, improper and they are still wants to spell worngly.. and also, think that spell wrongly or short form is "cool"
  
  anyone.. ask yourself.. does your English always score near perfect in exams? maybe, maybe not.. juggle it with your mother tongue and i say both languages are half past 6! If not, then my applause to you
  
  and now trying to shame yourself some more with bad spelling.. thats a pity..
  
  and yeah. guess the old 160 characters limit on SMS also sparked this "outburst", not to mention western influence..

  sometimes, the words become totally undecipherable... and it's pretty hard to read...
  
  i'm guilty of it sometimes as "want to" becomes "wanna" and "got to" becomes "gotta"
  
  but heck.. there's been a lot of other things going on... all you have to do is to look at the topics, and you don't even have to click on them to drill into the threads themselves..
  
  i was wondering... is it that difficult to type the correct spelling? or do people just type that way coz it's "cute" ?
  
  i find it hard to type that way...
  
  for those who do type the "cutesy" spelling things, may i ask why do you do it?
