We did not even notice until we saw the head of the discus lying beside the tank... Connected to a bare vertebre...

Listen babe, i'm saying the opportunity for the dog to save your life is really small. If u have a little teacup chihuahua ala Tinkerbell of Paris Hilton fame. And i'm telling u.. some country people do have an affection for tinkerbell. It ain't gonna be saving u in no time.
Plus cats are loyal too. My cat is sitting next to my hand and always does so until i flick her off or when she's tired and sits in her bed. -
