  You see Hong Kong is also a developed country and also has the same situation as us in Singapore like burning paper money and others Don't think that developed countries are western one it also can be Asian or maybe African in the future

  They do own the road. They pay taxes for that road to be bulit and maintained.

  i agree hes trying to stir up something, tradition this kind of thing oso wan to question. WE ARE NOT WESTERNISED, we are a modern country and we got our own traditions and customs to protect be it malay chinese or indian. What do u mean by westernised? Becoz we all speak english? Living in a modern world doesn't mean u can abandon your roots.
