Poly Grad doing sai kang

Well my cousin who is a poly grad born in 1980 is still making $1500 after 2 years in his MNC factory as a Technician doing sai kang like washing machine servicing them checking etc ... still he count himselves lucky as some of his army fren still jobless after 3 yrs ...with OT/ allowance still can make about 2 K
We the 70s batch we can at least get a techncial officer post much more fortunate them...with so many grads and poly cohort going around the mkt....
who do not find making a living in SG is not getting tougher pls tell me ...of cos with the exception of high fliers, or top sales pple lah -
1500? not bad already lah....real toilet cleaner also dun earn that much what

Well... think not only Poly students are underpaid and overworked... who asked gahment everyday say econ bad, must cut must cut...
Then it is us, the workers who suffer lor... Even if the gahment also cut their own salary... think of it as 20k cut still got 15k a month... but do you think that they are getting that low paid???
Look at the NKF and you will know that surely they are better off than that CEO... and 600,000 is peanuts, remember??? No all of us will see that amount in our whole life... let alone earn that amount in a year... WTF!

unless in the first place he chose the wrong job

erm technician means checking on machines and makign sure they work mah whats wrong but then the pay i dunno le sounds low to me but i dunno the market rate so can't comment

Well cos he is considered as one of the better ones already some of his fren work as waiter , temp staff , partimer etc
Come to think of it if I resign or retrench I will be making $1500 again how to survive in this Singapore they may not employ me also as I am 35 this year
You all should know nowaday poly grad diploma devalued holder all downgraded to do N O level job 10 years ago... is this progress of our society .. my first job was as an Engineer Assistant with Tehcnician ITC NTC holder under me ... now jia lat leow loh -
Even young people with bachelors and masters also doing sai kang. Don't believe me ask around. Some places are even paying these people daily rated wages!

Other than the take-home pay cut, there is also the CPF cut at the employer contribution part. Employer contribution was cut from 20% in year 2000 to today's 13%. especially in primary school
everyday the students so much problem..den not just 9-5..after work can relax..sometimes u meet with nasty parents and stuff.. -
heh heh bro.. depends.. u must know how to siam.. speaking from experience..some seasons are hectic but not everyday..other than that go back at 2pm..work smart not hard
