  Same sentiments here.. But honestly it is harder to write a song to challenge a singer than to tailor a song specifically for them.
  
  But honestly, when weilian sang his encore number, i was amazed by the difference in emotion that he put into the song.. For the rounds that he lost, it seems that he is just too nervous.

  i did a personal survey w my frens
  at least 8 outta 10 choose kelly
  why she stilll lose ah?
  I tink got kelong leh.
  
  anyway i believe kelly`s album will sell much better than weilain
  and advance further than wei lian

  but i`ll be glad if the 8 of the finalist can for a band!
  then they`ll be the 1st local band tt`s popular b4 they formed..

  I think Weilian probably got much more vote cause there are a lot of aunties and uncle voting for him. As aunties and uncle are richer, they can make much more call. Wheres in the case of Kelly, a lot of her supporters are poly students, hence not enough budget to show their support.

  Kelly is Roy Loi(Lee Fei hui)'s student....how fair can that be?Maybe Kelly would have been out very early if not for him

  As long as they dun reveal how they count the votes like Election voting style there will always ppl who sense some underhand dealing in playing with the numbers. Do the voters get to see how the votes is tallied in Project Superstar? I doubt a general election voting system will follow the same way cuz it will be so thorougly examined by ppl in public.
  
  So for such shows the result is always so called "fixed" hahahhaa.....

  all i can say is some of the judges r "has beens". lee fei hui, dawn yip, even mr malaysian accent can b a judge!!! wats up with tat. the only qualified r billy & lei wei song. & superstar is a popularity contest. Who cares who sings better. U vote 4 who u like. Jus like SG idol!!! Can SLY sing? Gdness he cant even pronounce ENGLISH!!! So bottomline, its the word "POPULARITY"

  Erm... tested and proven that kelvin's ablum sold better than kelly by a thousand as announced on the beginning of the final showdown...
  
  Anyway, if really got band, they will disband too... cos if the profit is divided by 8... Some will think that they would rather get the whole profit for himself... Think! It's money you are talking about... money... who will say they had enough???
  
  Anyway, I feel kelly is just something new and will fade away... Only Kelvin will withstand the test of time if compared...
  
  Who will last longer? Idol singer or one with strength...
  
  Think about it... How many idols had faded and those with strength are still standing firm in the music industries...
  
  Looking at the past you should know that they will only shine for a few years... then they will lose their shine and people forget them all the time...

  bcos Play Music is well known for keeping the identities of their artistes secert.They r all actually superhero crime fighters who sing in e recording studio in e day n fights crime by nite.Wee lian is the Singapore Version of Daredevil..... just keep it a secert... no body should know his secert identity one.

  cai chun jia also. play music is very good at marketing their singers. look at ou de yang, guo mei mei and cai chun jia. everyday can hear their music on air and on television. guess wei lian will do well there.
