its the requirements that are stupid. -
Common in overseas for past decade. Even in Tokyo & Shanghai, there are a couple of hotels that only hire degree holders even for bell boys.

here's a story a chief stewardess told my mother while they were having night lessons.
some guy puked on the aircraft, so being the chief she had to assign someone to do the job.
she asked a girl to go clean up, and her reply "I'm a degree holder you know!"
the chief said "You're working as a flight attendant, so go clean it up" -

It covers from DBA, Network specialist, SA, developer, programmer, Java, C++, Shell, Unix, Kernel knowledge, cluster knowledge, project management, troubleshooting, deployment, disaster recovery and almost everything in the damn IT industry
Plus a friendly attitude and proficient reading and writing ability blah blah blah...
And I'm just a damn Computer Operator. -
