i strike the note with aggression or boredom, arent those feelings? arent i emotionally attached to what im doing hence the particular rhythm/sound which sounds out? unconditional way..so there's a condition? previously you said anyone who makes music is a musician now you say there are conditions present for something to be called music..isnt that a little contradictory?Originally posted by philia:So you have to be emotionally-attached to a certain "sound" in order to classify it as music? Can't one just enjoy music in the most unconditional way?

speaking of mozart, it's also how a composer fully develops his music and utilise his resources/notes.Originally posted by anhydrouscoppersulphate:but it differentiates mozart form an ordinary chinese pop listener

So someone who is more emotionally-attached to a musical piece has "a higher level of music listening" capability than someone who unconditionally enjoys a music? Amazing, there is actually something that sets a high-class listener apart from a low-class listener.Originally posted by anhydrouscoppersulphate:you can which is up to someone. im just saying there's a higher level of music listening.
personal emotion is diffent from "feeling music" which is hearing the different aspects of music like rythmn n what have you. there are conditions to make music and when u make music u r a musician which differentiate us wif mozart etcOriginally posted by vito_corleone:i strike the note with aggression or boredom, arent those feelings? arent i emotionally attached to what im doing hence the particular rhythm/sound which sounds out? unconditional way..so there's a condition? previously you said anyone who makes music is a musician now you say there are conditions present for something to be called music..isnt that a little contradictory?![]()
