  There are different level of appreciations in music. It all boils down to what is best for the listener. I am able to enjoy the music just as good as it is without the need to analyze the score. Ultimately, musicians present the audience with the music; not the score.

  so far, I haven't meet anyone who comment that art of fugue is impressive until he sees the score~!!
  
  bass part can be transposed one octave up to become melody and melody transpose down to become bass......etc. and more amazing technical feats~!!
