I jus dun get it...
Not too long ago some ppl said I look Korean or Eurasian...
ThAT WAS FINE BUT TODAY got 2 gal say I look like a Chinaman...
Not too big deal abt it you may say but I went home to take a closer look at myself. Well maybe my complexion is a little on the fair side but I dress well, have big eyes and speak good English. I jus dun get it...
Maybe I will go for a makeover soon... -

I dun wanna stereotype but most Chinaman have poor dress sense, look loudly, gobble their food, are unruly and definitely not handsome...
I am nowhere near that for sure...
ppl mentioned that me and my friends are hip and cool...
Those 2 remarks today were a tremendous blow to morale...

hmm... when u do things people can definitely tell whether you're a china-man or not... and ur dressing.. try to get new clothes if you havent gotten any.. try not to dress shabbily cos u might end up looking even more like them.. and speak more english perhaps..?
look like fr china doesnt mean that u behave like a china-man. two totally different things...

sorry for the intrusion but i don't support you (despite you being Chinese ethnically) labelling all chinese nationals as Chinaman. Maybe becoz I not compeititive like Typical Singaporean.
Then I speak wif a 'R' language.

i think a worse case is that ur family looks and speak totally locally... but somehow as years go by u grew up to speak abit different of typical sg'porean manner, and u look foreign ( lyk u come frm China )...
