Then The library can charge people for sleeping there. Next time the Library will start to charge loaning fees. Then The NLB will list on the SGX. 24h lib will also offer a job rotation for librarians = more job opportunities.
For the sleeping issue, there should be warning signs telling people not to occupy a seat to sleep and deprive real users of a place. -

I bought McDonald's chicken rice burger from its outlet at King Albert Park on Nov 5. What truly irked me was that the only language used on the packaging was Chinese. All the words were in Chinese.

I feel this is insensitive and inconsiderate.
McDonald's has always used English and this is rightly so as Singapore is a multi-racial and multi-lingual nation. Why use only Chinese for this particular packaging?
By using only Chinese, McDonald's is putting forth the impression that it is Singapore's main language. I do not believe that the 75 per cent majority of Chinese or the influx of Chinese nationals into Singapore justifies the use of only Chinese on McDonald's packaging.
Singapore is still an icon in the modern world which transcends race and language. McDonald's should respect all races and cater to all by using the neutral language of English.
