The newspaper still say what 'Public confidence in the NKF is slowly regaining.' I dun think so. For such charitable institutes, once the trust is broken, they're gone forever.

ever wonder whether the NKF staff ever donate to NKF or not?
Since they do not donate why should we?
Everytime they ask us to doante this and and that but they themselves are
drawing $4k a month.
Their salary is our donation.
Every cent they take is ours.
So where is durain now?
He must be laughing at us for being dumb and giving so many peanuts.
Since they like to ask for donation so much why not donate their money to us?
I seriously believe that the NKF staff will hack care about you if you are sick with other health problems.
If they do not care about us why should we give them $4k a month to spend on branded goods? -

anyways, I never donate to any charity org in my life, except for being forced in NS, so no worry or yuan hen for me.

i am sure once they punish the wrong doer and restructure NKF MGT team and policies ie increase transpanrency . Public will start to donate again.
Infact my fren who earlier terminate his $10 monthly donation has already resumed it, like he said its not fair to the patient. -

But transparencies is still lacking badly. Pay of the directors are not revealed after all. MediaCorp ppl also in the new board of directors.

All I can say is; I think this is just all a "show". Nothing more...
Personally, if I want to donate any cash, I'd personal see to that the money, reaches the intended needy. Not through organizations - it's so murky, these "organizations". -
My uncle once told me; if you give a needy person a packet of Chicken Rice through a charitable organization, by the time it reaches the needy person who is hungry, it would have become just one spoonful of chicken rice instead of a full packet.
Same goes with money. -

I can still remember being forced to donate to NKF by my teachers back in JC even though I was having financial problems and starved myself half the time to cover my basic expenses.
Enough said. They can do any and all measures to try to entice donations again....
But they ain't getting their hands on my money again - ever.
