Is SAF doing enough to reward SG males?

All NS/F personnels fall in!
You feel living in SG as a male citizen, is it worth to put your blood sweat time and LIFE at stake serving the SAF? The SAF run by people more sucky than NKF? Your career development gets disrupted, you risk long term chronic injury, you get fucked DB over petty problems with fuck supervisors. All the while our rulers bring in more and more FTs to drain our lifeforce?
What benefits you get for all these? I really honestly not clear. $100 tax benefit? -

If everybody has the same mindset as you, what will happen to our country? We just give up and surrender when faced with an external threat? As a proud SG male, we should serve NS with pride! I've still got 3 years to NS...but i'm alr looking forward to and preparing myself for it.

Truth be told, I don't ask for a lot....
I just ask for some respect and understanding from girls in particular and the public in general.
As we've discussed in another thread, the public isn't grateful of us at all. -

NS is bad enough...think about the reservist cycle we need to go thru
really waste time
also we get to hear a lot of cases where CO rejected reservist deferment for people who are studying or getting employed in a new company -

i dun really worry about the physical training...can't get much worse than Judo training rite haha. Actually i dun care much if its fun or not. We go for NS because its our duty, not neccessarily because we think its a walk in the park. Try our best yeah? Aim for the Red Berets, or even SOF.
