The roots goes back to prehistoric times.Originally posted by SMAPLionHeart:Thats where it started from , you don't even know who instigated the 1964 in SG and 1969 riots in KL.
Thats where the roots of it began.

Airing out these racists is a similar action, and undoubtedly a deserving one, realise that these racists have done only harm to the fabric of the nation.
Sorry to sidetrack abit , would you pay $100 to recruit someone who can raise $1000 for your charity or pay $10 for someone who an raise $100 for your charity?
I have explained in another similar post on this issue, that education cannot be blamed for these simpletons, as no one can gauge an education system based on the few that go awry. There is always going to be a few that go astray, the education system has guided an overwhelming majority to stay within reasonable confines, these racists have themselves to blame.
Education is the only way to help people like them.
If they go into jail , they will still hate people.
Just like the former CEO , he must realise he has took too much benefits.
Through education , putting the former CEO in jail isn't going to change anything
If the CEO got removed from his position without knowing what went wrong with him , what's the actual point then?
Their mistake is hardly small as mentioned by SMAPguy, they are sowing the seeds of discontent between races, and their "minor" indiscretion could lead to disasterous ramifications.
Hence, well, this SMAPguy should cease with his numerous posts regarding the issue as whichever angle he wishes to defend the racists from, there is simply no way that their actions are excusable, and a deterrent punishment is the only way to do it. Public shaming of litterbugs via CWO has been done, this racists behaviour is so much more serious, hence the public shaming they are getting is pretty acceptable in my viewpoint. Now we can see for ourselves how strong their confidence in their racist opinions would be when no longer hidden behind the Internet.
Aren't you even a little concerned about those kids?
17 years old and you are putting his personal life at risk!INHUMANE!
Firstly, how many million posts do you need to make?just make one and consolidate your points..keep repeating...Originally posted by SMAPLionHeart:Racism between chinese and malays started from Country M's history
Durai deserves to be forgiven despite his wrong-doings , now the problem is , for a high performing executive , is it wrong to draw high pay?
public shaming of CWO is different.
what im concerned is about what happens after the racist postings .

There is definitely to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
Authorities ain't thinking.if we secretly arrest people , and corner them outside their houses , and slowly root them out and force them to counselling centers , wouldn't we be able to catch more racists?
if we only get 3 racists , wouldn't that be worse off?
i believe there are more then just a mere 3 racists in singapore.jail can't help racists
The author of the second holocaust wrote the blog , but young kids aren't aware of the conseuquences.
Well , you are entitled to your own views.
Let's keep it at that.
Indians are allowed to work in sensitive areas in the army, at least that's what I saw when I was doing my NS.Originally posted by SMAPLionHeart:Thats where racism begin , between the two races.
Racism is the cause of racial riots.
We must identify the cause , seek out the solution.
The solution is to let them fully integrate themselves as singaporeans.
There should also be full equalityJobs for malays/indians in sensitive areas in SAF.
More jobs for them.
playing a bigger part in our community.
we should identify people by their nationality , and not by the colour they were born with.
Well, i would not say jail helps cultivate love. What i am saying is that if the fella wants to repent from his misttakes, and actually realises the wrong he has done, some jail time would help serve as a strong reminder to him that what he has done was indeed wrong. However, maybe i'm simply cold, but i doubt that racism is something you can either beat out of someone,or talk out of someone. It is all just to utopian, i feel the three will remain having feeling of discontent towards malays, but since that were the case, punish them so that they remember that it is wrong. And even if they have the racism within them, they would learn not to act on their racist intentions. This is very much like teaching an animal a trick, you could reward them when they do good, or punish them when they do bad, eventually they will learn..Originally posted by SMAPLionHeart:i don't see how isolation of thoughts in a lonely dark chamber is going to cultivate love.perhaps you could enlighten me on that.
as for indians , i was referring to the higher ranks beyond COLOriginally posted by SilverPal:Indians are allowed to work in sensitive areas in the army, at least that's what I saw when I was doing my NS.
As for malays, perhaps there is a sensible reason why they are unsuitable for certain vocations? Maybe they do not want to work in those sensitive vocations? I'm not too sure about this and I'll go read up more.
As for your first post about the SAF's forward defense strategy, if you feel its a bad idea, the alternative is worse. If we simply allow neighbouring countries to invade sg island first, THEN defend ourselves, we might not have enough land to stage a massive retaliation.
Imagine a certain country, let's say J, attacking from the north. According to plan, we would let them reach woodlands before counter attacking and pushing them back out of our soverign space. Now, assume that J soldiers were more successful than we expected, by the time we gathered our troops, submitted a diplomatic protest with the UN, they might have captured 1 reservior and perhaps an airbase... Our troops would be deprived of those resources and be hindered to a certain extent. And isn't it racist to allow the Chinese singaporeans to suffer the toils of war since we refuse to fight on malaysian soil? Are we not protecting the malays to the north at the expense of our own taxpayers and voters?
FYI, Indians have ever served as Army RSM. That is quite a big appointment.Originally posted by SMAPLionHeart:as for indians , i was referring to the higher ranks beyond COL
my ex-camp number one rsm was a malay and his superior SWO is also malay. both control the camp. That was like ten years ago. Even Col and officers have to be below them in the camp.Originally posted by iveco:FYI, Indians have ever served as Army RSM. That is quite a big appointment.
Why bother to highlight the fact that we do have Indians holding high positions in the army when the kid does not even know how the M16S1 smells like after live firing?Originally posted by AF2005:my ex-camp number one rsm was a malay and his superior SWO is also malay. both control the camp. its an honourable top of SAF appointment. Damn powerful, one word from them, extra guard duty or detentions.
SAF have one indian BG general.
SPH also published the book "LKY memoirs"Originally posted by Shotgun:Yeah... not to mention scraping the bloody cauliflower with those lousy tweezers they give us. Urgh.
Besides the point.
SAF's forward Defense doctrine is needed cos we have very limited battlespace. If we allow the enemy into Singapore, no matter where we call for artillery bombardment, we will still eventually be bombarding our own soil. Our own HDB estates, our own CBDs. The enemy is not gonna stay in forested areas for us to shell. With little room to maneuver, chances are, every move u make will be a frontal attack on another enemy position, causing even more casualties.
Besides this has nothing to do with Racism. Or SPH for the matter.
Will SPH cause a second racial riot? No. Why? Well, their Top guys at SPH or any of their papers are allegedly usually former gahmen employees, former cabinet ministers, or having worked in various ministries..
Would people formerly from a gahmen entities try to cause racial riots? I think they've got more social responsibility than that.

His loads of hearsay and beliefs are in serious doubt even before the issue was discussed. He was trying to unite all the races together and then he smacks himself on the pole when he goes on about things he rarely even knows about?
Does he know how many Indians are on army payroll as a regular? No. Does he know all the people holding high positions in the army? No. What he does for the past few months in forums was giving comments when all the information he had on hand were just rumours. I knew that long time ago.
As a friend I hate to strongly put him down, but it's about time. There are times when we need more facts than senseless emotions running through your heads. We do not need another spawning of iveco, who keeps on harping on political issues instead of having serious information about it.
Facts, our friends, are what we ask for. Not some load of crap you heard from braggers.![]()
