Different people have different tastes and preferences and they should all be respected. Other people should not look down on you nor should you look down on other people. I think a lot of resentment towards SPGs stems not from their preference of Caucasian men but their attitude that that they or their partners are somewhat superior than other people. Homebody is right in that biodiversity should be appreciated but he forgot that SPGs contributes to this biodiversity as well.
So I guess what I'm saying that you should keep an open-mind. Don't close the door on a person just because you think he is not your type. Countless romantic movies have proven that opposites do attract
With greater interaction with different people and as you grow older, you will learn to appreciate the unique charasteristics in each individual and your tastes in men will change just as much as your tastes in other things such as music will. Don't be so quick to label yourself an SPG. You're still young. Keep the doors open. Some guys might surprise you. -

First I just wanna clearify something. Does CHEENA mean chinese? Because I cant seem to find it in dictionary.com and I really dont know what it mean.
Anyway I will say that I dont look down on anyone. Reason is very simple, what so special about me that I have to look down on someone else.
For the thread starter, I have read a few messages and posts from you. I can say this, I dont look down on you, but I dont respect you. I know you dont need me to respect you, as much as many of us here dont need you to look upon. So in simple term, I only have the basic human respect for you.
As for your like for caucasian men, that is not my problem because that is ur basic human right. You can tell me you like donkey and I wont even say a single thing. But saying ALL caucasian men are better, I can say you are generalizing thing. And when you generalizing, it mean you are narrow-minded. And if you are narrow-minded, then you arent what you say you are, open-minded. So you if want to show you are open-minded dont generalize.
One more thing, you are more like your parent than you think you are. You and your parent maybe standing on different views and grounds, but you and they are both narrow-minded when come to thinking. In simple word, things like "some of our sg biys here are better than caucasian men" will make you shut ur mind as fast as your parent mind when they hear you saying "I want a caucasian boyfriend".
You want to be different or better, show us you are different or better. Dont just tell.

I agree i mite be more westernised in my outlook N behavior but if tht's da reason i get look down simply cuz i look chinese, i feel strongly unjustified.. in a case of a local sg guy N a caucasian if looks dun play a part N there of equal standings, i'd still chose da caucasian based on da way they carry emselves.. it's hard ta describe.. i juz haf da affinity wif em N i've da western style goin on too.. If i were ta judge.. i say i look more japanese thn cheena..i'm a lil on da fair side N i feel tht my face is nt so cheena.
But i hate it whn pple mistake my frenlyness as a form of s luttish behavior.. cant ya tell da diff?. N bout my way of dressin it's juz my style..my mom has this fixed mindset tht keeps thinkin in a unconventional way.. she thinks i dress up lyk tht ta attract guys..N its juz a simple pair of jeans N a sleeveless top. dont keep insistin i'm shallow cuz i feel tht my mom's even shallower in this aspect. She acts lyk she's still lvin in da stone age.. she even thinks dye hair equates ta gangsterism. I got fed up wif her N made a drastic change ta my hair juz ta prevent her continuous nagging. Now it's still nice.. cuz i take da effort ta upkeep it tho its lost much of its style.. nt lyk some pple.

Simple_bear my passport/ ic says chinese but i dont act chinese.. (i think) Ya can criticize me fer nt stickin to my roots or wht but i dont think i belong ta cheea (china) .. I don't really lyk cheena at all so i speak english most of da time. :]
