at first it was okie, he just asked me to join him for dinner and stuff every time.. then i went along lor.. as the time flew by, he started asking me what my religion was.. to which i replied, 'i'm registered as a buddhist in my IC'. then he invited me to go along with him to church again, to which i decline politely bah...
then after a few more times, i just felt like bashing him up. the very last time he tried to convince me actually made me feel very disgusted with him. He asked 'why are you a buddhist?'. I just said, 'maybe cos i've been following my parents and that i'm comfortable with my religion lor'.
then he said 'you should have more free will in yourself and shouldnt follow blindly with your parents like that, do you think you are happy being a buddhist?'
i was like 'wtf? whether or not i happy at least i wasnt forced into it.'
he ended the evening with these last words 'I think buddhist is the worshipping of devils.'
I stopped my meal, gave him the longer middle fingers, which err my middle finger could extend that day and greeted him off with an 'FU!'
I never heard from him since.. but it's really one of my most terrified experiences ever... I was being respesctful and friendly, and just because i dont make friends by judging what religion they believe in, he took it as an opening to convince me... i tot he would give up when i refused so many times, but still he's like a huge rock, not bulging man..
i think it's a minority for people like him to behave, but i believe these people are doing the wrond thing. I still remembered people standing buy my poly's overheard bridge asking people to join them for church hahaha.... -

To say that Buddhist is the owrshipping of devils is immature and shows how stupid you are. Buddhists do not worship devils. Devils do not teach you to be kind and compassionate to living beings.
I dun no enuff to say more, so I shall stop.
But CHC really is in deep, deep, shit. All sgForumers will not join or convert to CHCMCs. -
Most of the chc ppl are first time converts to christianity, once they get on the 'christian' mode they'll think that other religion are worshipping devils/idols etc. That is so stupid and foolish of them to insult other ppl's religion. They are some who are 'free thinker' but maybe into horoscope/tarot cards etc, they'll say they are inviting evil spirit/devil and eventually their life will be ruin.
CHC love to boast around abt how good they are but they are 100% dumbass..

2ndly, new building, new church building and funding.
Where you got all the funding? how long did CHC funded for the building? how much does the building cost CHC?
3rdly, (This is optional, cos you are not responsible to answer on her behalf) why does Priest/father/pastor's wife (whichever CHC named it) choose the path of pop singer?
4th... how does your church's structured?

They say that they pray and fast and God 'open this door' for them to evangelise thru pop music, which is bullsh!t if you see what that women is doing and how the members help her (buy LOADS of her cd and stuff) then she donate the $$ to charity. If you know how much she have in her bank accounts, the money donated is only peanuts.. She can spend several thousands on her shop, the money donated not much lah..
They get the members to pray for her and hoped that she'll do well in her singing career, with the support of her fans in church, she'll suceed. I'm just waiting for the day someone will oppose her and expose her 'evil' plot.. -

If I start another similiar to CHC... and I could convince and encourage brothers and sisters should bond with one another more... showing more love, affection and comfort... then... it's ok... you get the idea...
Why only POP music? not opera (which is what singapore support... a nation of Arts and Culture...) Why not bollywood style music, arabic, rap, new age, raggae... they have problem with those music? why only chinese pop?

When the contract was offered its for chinese albums. There are other races also but majority are chinese.
She'll be releasing her first full length english album mid of the year. Chinese album will be later. She just took photos for english album few days ago. -
Base on a few facts... if CHC push forward a few candidate for Singapore IDOL 2, it's like a walk in the park...
1) Church normally got praises, hymns, they sing song.
2) they play musical instruments.
3) They encourage Pop song, well one of them make it big, a role model and making an example.
4) they got lots of ppl. lots of supporters.
5) donated lots of $$ in a short time to build their church.
6) therefore, base on (4) & (5)... they shouldn't have problem voting for their candidates.
7) if they fail to make it, something is wrong, cos of (3).
They could easily get a few good singers, becos (1) .
9) they'll likable, sell better, a more complete package cos (4) and (2).
10) so even we we all dun vote for their candidate, you'll be surprise they still make it to top few places.
11) they would make it into top few places, becos (1), (2) ,(3), (4), (5), (6),(7), (, (9), (10).
12) it would be sad if they dun send someone for the IDOL competition, cos then it will Contradicting (1) vs (3). -

the CHC guy who managed to obtain my bro's hp no.,kept calling him everyday juz to say 'lord be with u'.kept inquiring why my bro couldn't make it to the church too.

Hi, I think the real Christianity is about loving God and loving pple. Receive God's love 1st , it will be effortless to love God and love pple. Why Christians share gospel with pple? simply to let pple know God loves them... Whether want to accept it, it's really up to individual. In bible, Jesus never force pple to accept Him.
Of course there bound to be christians who do it in the wrong way. Anyway, motive is to do out of love, not out of pressure to hit goal... -

two kinds of BGR? boy-god relationship and boy-girl relationship...
anyway i have gd friends from chc, i didn't think they are all about bgr... few are really good.. BUT i do realise there is an ounce of truth in the fact that there are ppl there actually looking for gals.. this church is large, there are boys and gals, surely it's inevitable that at least a few are interested in each other. -

actually i think the point city harvest is trying to achieve is to ensure that their members dun get into bad company, cuz same church the pple are under the same teachin wad..and most churches preach about bein holy and not commiting sins
