200 years ago, dancing would have been considered to be sinful. Of course we are more liberal nowadays.
There is nothing wrong with drinking liquor in moderation nor dancing. However, there is always a possibility of falling into grave sin in such conditions. Getting into fights, one night stands, the possibilities are endless. Drinking when you know you are not supposed to is also sinful because you may endanger those around you (drunk driving, possible sexual crimes).
Have fun, but have precautions too. -

I guess this is related to the petition put up by a Muslim cleric asking disco clubs and pubs to be closed for 3 days due to Ramadan. So perhaps the threadstarter can elaborate on this.
Clubbing isn't prohibitted. Its drinking alcohol. But we can always pub and club without alcoholic drinks. But to some, it isn't fun without those. Right? -
