Its seems that there is no point in argueing over such matter. Everyone have their own belief. If whoever things that it is an interesting topic to discuss about, why must it be in a forum? why not in public?
Its really disrespectful and disgraceful to have such a mindset. Showing the ugly side of how people are. If you do not how to respect religion. how can u respect your parents at the first place? -

He said, "we should give all we have to God, leave all the worldly things behind. Since God has been so generous to us, we should not be stingy, we should give as much as we can to Him, and He will love us so much more when we do that. So dig deep into your pockets and contribute as much as possible..."
Notice he did not say donations will cleanse sins?

After going, I heard this comment, I was seriously wondering what DO they teach their followers. I decided never to go ever again.
Religion, whatever the reason you want to join for, most important thing is to think before getting brainwashed. Are they instilling good values? Are their teachings against conventional ideas of good and bad? Do they break up families? Do they spread hatred while preaching love?
girlyger, I dunno if you're from chc, if i offended you, then what can i say? You should do some research before joining a religion... Or before buying dzi beads too...

But think, if you carry the mindset of look see for every religion, why must u have a religion in a first place? Religion is to believe, learn good morale values, but when believers think that they learnt about good values, what not they share to their friends, they care for their surronding friends, if not why do they even bother to invite you over? All religion cultivate good values if not why are people believing the words?
I think that in the future, its not because of racial riots but it a religious riot in the future. why not accept how different religion are like. there are many churches, temples and mosques. If everyone carries the same mindset as you. how worst will it be for the future generation?
Will there be existance of beliefs, when everyone think that they are right? Hatred develops from the heart too. If they disagree with all the religious saying, no matter what any religious leader say, everything is wrong in their mind.
So its like whats the point of arguing and having of topics like joining a church? it like digging something from nothing. nothing to do with back to square one. Though i maybe young, why cant people think in a mature way? -
