Tong Xin Yuan is rely bad... & it's not the artists' fault this time. When i 1st saw the trailers before the show was aired, i actually felt quite optimistic... the cast is quite good, Lee Si Qi is a great veteran, Xiang yun, Yvonne lim & Apple Hong are all competent actress...
i think it's rely the producer/director/scriptwriter failings this time... -

Anyway, MediaCorp's drama should go back to SBC -
i tink the story is moving on too slowly lah.. my patience running thin liao lor... -.-

that show is too noisy liaoz, all the time there're people shouting/quarreling, I eat my dinner also cannot eat in peace.........
so I switched off the TV.

part two speed is faster nw ....... not like part 1 drag here and there ...

Still the same more or less, a bit draggy and 'overly drama' in some part of the story - basically most of the time the 'nice guys' suffers, & probably the last few espisodes the 'evil guys' would have a quick terrible ending that's all.
The most boring - repeating! esp. in hospital scenes - Imagine most of the "nice guys" went to hospitals due to coma, injury or illness...
1st mother(coma) then Da yang(injured & illness) , Da di (injured)... then the father Shitou (injured/ coma), Da Hai (illness)...

SBC, although that time they got little experience in producing own dramas, they dared to try new things. Wu Shuo Nan Yang is one good example.
And then next was the first period drama featuring both China and Singapore during the Ching Dynasty. The actress Chen Mingli (already retired from entertainment scene, now a full time insurance agent) acted as Chen Shu Cheng's love interest. And Chen Shu Cheng was actually an enunch from the palace. Though Singapore lack places to film such drama, they made full use of Shuang Lin Temple and Chinese Garden. -

Most people don't watch local production these days. The trend has moved to SCV.

I think they lack good scriptwriters. Good show starts with a good story.

still acceptable.....at least some climaxes to the show...
but part II now is wholly absurd and totally lost the essence of the initial theme of this show..... -
