Are singaporean gullible?

Just read Dr Lee's retort in the ST forum last night.
It seems ST is rather gracious to allow a final response from a writer in this case. In the past, it is standard practice to publish 1 letter and 1 corresponding reply to it from various people. There is no FINAL REPLY by the original writer.
And it is interesting to note that the response from Dr Lee was far more vocal and aggressive compared to the letters published in response to her 'gullibility' letter which started this furore. No doubt the people who disagreed with Dr Lee had their letters heavily censored.
One wonders over the use of ST Forum as an impartial platform for open discussion. -

Has anyone seen the latest articles abt the poorest lot of Singaporeans owning HDB flats, or that they have TV, DVD players and all that?
Stil doesnt give us the answers why there are squatters forced to seek shelter at Changi beach.
