does anyone has this habit of purposely banging on the ENTER key on the keyboard when you type?
i can hear that some ppl in the office do hit the ENTER key especially hard......and only this key..... -
The banging is to make up for some inadequecy in other areas of their life.

yeah my office also, everyone wack their enter keys and delete keys. as such the 2 buttons often malfunction.

For those people who always do that, you can see them as very hot temper people, plus abit inconsiderate for distracting the neighbouring colleages. Its can be a really bad habit. smack their fingers!

I am totaly intoxicated by this sound of banging the ENTER key....

are they the older workers who were used to the "carriage return" key on typewriters of old?
had to hit the key pretty hard then

I broke the enter key on my laptop, never got it fixed. The last time I sent it in for monitor repair, the laptop came back with a newly fixed enter key FOC.

For me is backspace key cos alway type wrongly....

for me it's every key...
cos i had to bang hard to get the words out.
the only exception would be the delete key..

Why only ENTER key... because it has long associated with information SENT you see.
I suspect that those people who hit the Enter key harder than anybody else must be fed-up with their work, boss, colleague or job scope. They need a lunch treat definitely.
Do check your working environment. -
me different, i like to type very loud, esp the space bar. Hahaha.

Making the sound boosts enjoyment when I type leh
Or when you're working on something difficult, can vent fustration by banging on the keyboard.
Worse, I flick some keys loudly like Page Up and Page Down when I scroll -
OMG.. They are just too much people here that wants a lunch treat.. do moderate if you know what I mean.
