but we being under 18, have an advantage. Look at it from this perspective:
A) So you go ahead and voice your opinions, the typical singaporean mindset will mean that most of the adults wouldn't give a shyt.
B) Even if someone decides that you're being overly outspoken, and decides to file suit, a public apology would resolve it. In any case nobody would dare to blow it up. Come on, a supposedly wiser and more mature adult taking on a 14 year old kid who's just passionate about his nation and it's political governance? What the fish?
C) Even if they decide to press charges, you will be tried in a juvenile court (14 yrs old), trust me, I am certain the magistrate will find that the prosecution will be unable to meet the evidential burden required to convict you of slander or instigating treason. And somehow if they do (which will probably only happen if you decide to burn the flag to prove your point), you will be able to submit a plea of leniancy or a plea in mitigation on grounds that you're a kid - the media would probably help do 99% of the work.
D) and if they did press charges, Singapore would probably riot against that joker, and listen up to what you say because you obviously have something critical to voice for a 40 year old man to pee in his pants
E) Not to mention the skills you develop with regards to effective conversation, and logical analysis.
Don't worry, if you listen to your teacher, one day, you might find yourself in his position, telling another kid to stfu.

You are at an age where you want to flap your wings and see how high you can fly ... aka also known as rebelling against authority like parents or teachers therefore you are also very ripe to be "recruited" by whoever is out there with deeper sinister intentions ... maybe someone you look up to as a fatherly figure gave you the attention that you craved and "recruited" you and promote you as a "leader" and you go around "recruit" others to fill his cadre and mebbe even line his bed with a bevy of young girls .. who knows

Do as I say boy ... it safer to go chase gers ... so many gers out there at your age who are boy crazy and dying to be chased ... tsk ... sigh .. you are wasting your youth boy. -

So KumSioJui you mean that I am deeply involved in politics and may end up influence by others to join his party for example SDP??? I may end up becoming Chee Soon Juan if being influenced by them??? I know that if I am caught in trouble my parents and others would be question. My parents had warned me this before. So I should tone down on it and keep quiet and just observe??? But I am still loyal to my country, singing the national anthem and saying the pledge out loudly to be proud of my country. So really I should tone down on it and be a normal person.
