ITE, good school?

  Is it?
  People think it's a school for those gangsters or dropouts.
  So many ITE students are Ah Lian or Ah Beng.
  
  Worse still, some are real gangsters.

  ITE is actually not a bad school at all,it's just because of those minorities(so-called bad students) spoiled the reputation, causing many ppl to have misconception..
  I've also have friends who went there after their 'O' levels, they did very well in other subjects except for those crucial ones which pulled them out from poly/jc..and they are doing fine inside, later on they proceeded to polys then now into the working world..
  just work hard and 'try' not to mix ard too much with those minorities will do..
  it sounds simple but to try loh..

  ITEs are good. the government has been spending a lot of $(and i really mean a lot) to divert the attention of the general public to ITEs. weekly, there are at least 2 newspaper articles on successful ITE graduates. however, the behaviour of the minority will still destroy the reputation of the ITE, just like what i saw on monday.

  ITE is not a bad school... it's just an insititution that focus on the aspects of theory and practical of the job.....

  yup, i believe ITE College East is the grandest educational institution in singapore. i also think it beats the new RJC building hands down.

  The problem with ITE is that there are too little courses and the requirement to get in is too easy..think abt it.

  better to keep them somewhere to learn something useful than to stay outside and learn dunno what stuff...raising the bar is not going to help in that aspect...but of course...the bar cannot be too low also lar...now OK mah...

  and its impressive with the new concept cum building..
  woo... so nice.. with swimming pool, etc...

  its rubbish lah. if these kids are not interested in studying teach them vocational skills and join the workforce. pamper them for fark ?
