last time my hamster breed like crazy also
but heng i split those males and females.
so no humping can occure

I was a hamster breeder. Kept about 8 cages of different species of hamsters many many years ago. All very very cute! As for hamster mating, leave them alone!! I have seen my hamsters mating unsuccessfully a few times because the female is quite new and join his cage not so long. It takes some time for the hamsters to be friendly with each other. Some are even territorial even though together for some time. It could also be a biological problem with the female or male, that the female hamster cannot conceive.
Sometimes it could also be the female is holding on to the eggs - refuse for it to be fertilize due to suitable season to give birth and nest. So don't worry so much! Let nature takes its course! Take care of your hamsters well as they only have 2 to 3 years life span.
In case your hamster gets pregnant, one of signs are she is very aggressive and attacks other hamsters or anyone who touches her. Her teats will also be prominent. Give her lots of protein such as boiled or fried eggs if she is pregnant and immediately after delivery otherwise she will eat her pups. -
