wasn't the initial purpose of the ezi-link system meant to cut down on fare-cheats? so in the end, after going 1 big circle of implementing the extremely expensive and buggy system, the initial objective still not achieved?
so how is the present system better than the old farecard system?

This whole situation is just another reminder that the government is only interested in money and not in the welfare of the people. In most other civilised countries the PTC would have been sacked and the transport companies heavily fined.

A couple w their kids was onboard the bus
when the bus conductor came aboard and check fares as usual.
One of the kid did not collect the bus ticket and
was asked to pay for the fare again.
Though, he looked quite an obviously a primary sch student,
he was made to pay adult fare, even when his mum protest.
That auntie bus conductor simply gave a
"no no, i don't care. u must pay adult fare" attitude.
I see already also blood boil.
Overcharged so many people due to system unrealiabilty and such,
and now still want to add fine. Wtf!!
Continue all these nonsense i say.
