A better and harder consideration is if the guys would not marry someone high educated than themselves . Many have ego issues. -

I think ppl's talking/maturity/intelligence have no relationship with their education background but rather the level of exposure to different things in life. -
Man a dont care wan. I know of somebody who married is own maid. Furthermore he's a degree holder.

people who hold degrees do not mean they are open minded
Many still held on to sterotypes, typical typecast roles and taboos.
Most degree holding men I've asked rather marry someone of very much less intelligence than themselves simply cause of their ego and that allows them to boss the women around. -
better educated than the man = good. can bring in more money
lower educated than the man = also good. stay at home do house chore. -
this is a good topic for singaporean to think about. When singapore man go to NS , the girls get to finish higher studies and go to work . So the men get lag behind. The girls shun them because they had a headstart already
But they men will be willing to settle for simple girl? -
