Practising qigong now. Don't need your Yi Jing Jing.Originally posted by OH-FF:I know the long lost secret formula of "Yi Jing Jing".
Its a very nice technique and the body is much better after practicing. I've learnt how to swim in the water only using my body and glides thru after some adaptations.
You want the Book ? 10 bucks only.![]()
Hung Technique is famous for sharp and short movements like the "one inch punch" of Bruce Lee.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Practising qigong now. Don't need your Yi Jing Jing.
For qigong, I am practising under the watchful eyes of my master. And I am not to practise qigong anyhow without his permission, so I am quite safe from it. As for hung gar, I know they are famous for their short and sharp movements as well as their kicking. I want to learn it because I want to train my reflexes.Originally posted by OH-FF:Hung Technique is famous for sharp and short movements like the "one inch punch" of Bruce Lee.
However if you don't have the correct discipline of Qigong , or various Relaxing exercises like Yi Jing Jing, the damages of continuous exertion of sudden movements are going to hurt your muscles.
The mind have to be trained also to relax so that the body remains healthy if you are practising Kung Fu of the upper levels.

One thing about martial arts , its not how quick or fast. Its how you discipline your exercises for a healthy and stronger body.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:For qigong, I am practising under the watchful eyes of my master. is it the Hong Fist started by Hong Xi-Guan?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Hung Gar is a martial arts by the way.

There's some History of Hong Xi-Guan , but even the master himself also learnt his Skills from Shaolin .Originally posted by boy in blues:is it the Hong Fist started by Hong Xi-Guan?![]()
You are right about not how quick or fast it can go. But I am training for reflexes and not for anything else. So is my qigong. I learnt it not to harm people but for my own health benefit because I have asthma. I have been practising qigong for about 5 months, and have noticed improvements. For example, when I run long distances, I used to pant a lot. For now, I don't pant as hard.Originally posted by OH-FF:One thing about martial arts , its not how quick or fast. The mind matters more than the damages you inflict. The Soup Above suggests the "Gui Pai QiGong"
If drink some , maybe can master the QiGong that can sink SUbmarine?![]()

If I am not wrong, hong fist and hung gar are two different martial arts. Just like Chen-style and Yang-style of Taijiquan are two different arts. For practicality try doing the Shuttle Run.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:You are right about not how quick or fast it can go. But I am training for reflexes and not for anything else. Not interested in the ego of fighting and stuff. For me, it is solely for health benefits and training reflexes. I have been playing reflex sports, and although making improvements, I would like to try something new to see if it helps.Originally posted by OH-FF:For practicality try doing the Shuttle Run.
Play Badminton , or other reflex sports , its the more modern way. Forget about the Ego of Fighting and stuff.
I've been thru this stages from a history of Karate and tournaments. Ultimately I have to continue QiGong "Yi Jing Jing" to maintain health.

I am practising qigong in school, as in public school as a CCA.Originally posted by OH-FF:Try Dodge ball ?
Most Martial arts require sparring partners . So I presume you do not practise alone. Go to a school.
Other than that , you don't need to be feeding your EGO after you already understood the meanings of Qigong and Stuff.
I can sell you my other manuals for 10 bucks , like those DuGuJiuJian , XiangLongShiBaZhang, Stuff.
Used to play Ham-Tam Bolla in Primary School . Missed that sport.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:I am practising qigong in school, as in public school as a CCA.
Never heard of dodge ball other than the movie.
What is Ham-Tam Bolla? I played poison ball in primary school. And I missed that sport too.Originally posted by OH-FF:Used to play Ham-Tam Bolla in Primary School . Missed that sport.![]()
Poison ball , means people kick soccer ball to hit the people inside the court, Ham-tam Bolla uses tennis ball to Hit players , Usually its muddy and wet and leaves a muddy print on the person's shirt who gets hit.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:What is Ham-Tam Bolla? It is related.....dont catch balls?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Thanks OH-FF for your information. But do you really not know any hung gar masters here?
And for Rezki Prata Stall, please stop spamming. I have no idea how martial arts are related to all these. If you are advertising, this is the wrong place.
