My impression of SG is that the people tend to be less adventurous and traditional minded in terms of fashion. Not many dares to be 'different', unlike other developed Asian countries like Japan, Taiwan, Korea, etc. A notable number the Singaporeans I know are still homophobic, backwardly conservative minded, and thinks woman belongs to the kitchen and that a male should be the one providing for the family etc...But it might just be the few that I've encountered and not reflective of the whole population?
