And now.......the second question....
You have bought a $40 ticket for a play at the Esplanade. As you enter the theater, you realize you have lost your ticket, can't remember the seat number, and can't prove to the management that you have purchased a ticket. Will you spend $40 again for a new ticket?
You have reserved a 40$ ticket to watch a play at the Esplanade. As you went to the counter to pay, you realize you have lost $40 from your wallet. Will you now spend $40 for the ticket you reserved? (Assuming you have enough cash left to do so)
Please answer and give your reasoning.
You STILL have not answer the first question.
I have split personalities. Both personalities want to watch the play. One personality bought the ticket with 40 dollars in my wallet. The other personality only reserved a 40 dollar ticket.
I cannot remember where I put the ticket because the personality I am in only reserved it. Hence, I have the impression I had the ticket but could not remember details such as the seat number. But because I already bought a ticket, it would seem that I lost 40 dollars.
All that is left is to wait for the next switch in personality so that I can take out my ticket to watch the play.
