Why not use COE as an example and implement a Certificate Of Smoking. Where u bid for a piece of paper to let u be entitle to smoke.

Imo,the govt should step up on the enforcement more before considering more places to ban.
You see lots of people now bo chup the ban in places that are now supposed to be smoke free.
if enforcement is not there,list all sorta places out is still useless. -

my suggestion is ask policemen to patrol to see who are still smoking in public places and catch them to fine them~!!
alternatively, if citizens bao toh smokers, they also get some financial rewards.

well, i think that one reason for the construction of the casino is also cuzz the gov is trying to get more pple to gambling, which will make up for the people that have quit smoking, or even better, surpass the no. of pple that have quit smokin.
i also believe that people will believe in casino more as, in casinos, you have a chance to win money. however, when you buy a packet of cigarettes, you will have no chance to win money. -
$50 per pack is not un-achievable but gahmen has to be very careful in having such a big jump in such a short time. It could cause some public uproar and if election is coming soon, there maybe a swing in votes cuz I belif smokers are very dedicated and passionate about their hobby and will fight tooth and nail for their rights to smoke at a more affordable price.
One other main point is wat about tourist to spore? I belif some of them smoke too and are we going to turn off those money coming in juz becus we reject smokers? -
