i duno which one i should buy. anyone knows which one launched first? thinking of buying neeon.. oh yeah one think i dun like about those mp3 players including ipod is the charging!! must charge with usb to your computer!!!
anyone know where to get cheap neeon power adaptor? quite confused what mp3 to buy....
then if buying online stil more expensive than buying at retail after comparing the price with hardwarezone... -
buy muvo la..zen micro got lots of problems....but i dunno their new generation of zen still have these problems or not la...

Dun get zen neeon. I own one and it sux big time. The jog-dial is so insensitive tat u've gotta turn afew times b4 it can sense it.

ipod is more of a fashion statement i think. If u think u need FM radio, then go for anything other than zen neeon. I've been using it for 3 mths now and i really regret buying it just bcos of the varying backlight. In terms of display, it loses to other competitors like ipod, iRiver and Samsung. If u want gd sound quality, go for samsung. There's this player from them which costs ard 400+. samsung, no nothing about that. my concern is the charger, radio, and the capacity. Name some of it, then i can do a search myself -

iPod supporter all the way.
Last time 3rd Gen iPod,
Then changed to 1st Gen iPod mini,
Now using 2nd Gen iPod mini.
My manager just bought an iRiver, that's why I'm recommending it to you. Functions not bad, got voice recorder also, but navigation wise I still think that iPod wins. -
If ur budget is btw 400 to 500 bucks, then I wld suggest going for Samsung. U can really sense the difference in sound quality when u play the same music on zen neeon and the samsung player(dunno which model but i'm sure its in the range of 400+ to 500). Just go to any Harvey Norman store and try it there. It shld have the adaptor charger, in-built receiver and the memory for that model is 5GB.Originally posted by plump:thank you for opinions.

If ur budget is less than 400, then either go for ipod nano, ipod mini or if u dun mind the insensitive jog-dial zen neeon. For ipod nano, I guess u've read abt the problems abt the screen( it is easily scratched), but other than that i think the main selling point is the nice and slim design which is gd for those who carry small bags or even to put in ur pocket. Bear in mind oso abt the memory space of nano and ipod mini. They come with a smaller memory than other competitors within the same price range. IMO, 2GB shld suffice cos u'll never listen to more than 25 songs on a MRT trip or lets say u travel alot on plane, u are definitely not gonna listen to 5Gb of songs for ur entire trip rite???
As for zen neeon, i've oreadi stated the main problem wif it. If u r still adamant on getting it, then go ahead. I think there is a adaptor charger sold separately for zen neeon rite?? Ah, one last thing, the stick-on thingy sux oso. Comes off easily. I removed mine after 1 week. -
You need to be very careful with the Nano. You'll probably need to buy the protector or wrap and keep your Nano protected once you take it out of its box.
iPod Video is a catch too, but some may argue that it's not practical to watch videos on such a small screen. -

Buy sumtink u tink is gd lor....me go for more storage......althought a bit big...but still consider small when compare to N-gage or nokia 9500/9300/9510...

Also...go for I-pod..if u wanna to follow e crowd....or if u adventure, go for I-river...
