  Except sometimes those tin can boys / gals on the road. They are like 'wandering ghost', buy a 'tailsman' from them and they wonly bother you anymore.

  Don't most of us already donate to the Singapore Community Chest or something? I notice some money is deducted from my salary each month for this...I was told I will have to opt out if I don't want to donate but nobody knows how to opt out either. So I have left it but I still don't know where that money goes to...

  The reason gahmne want citizens to donate is to "cultivate" a compassionate society.
  NOT becos gahmen cannot afford to support all the charities put together.
  
  
  Many kidney patients damaged their kidney by over indulgence
  on unhealthy food when they already know they have familiy members/relatives
  who has kidney problems.
  It is the same for those heart patients and lung cancer patients.
  
  Do we need to pay for their misdeeds to their own health???
